MONSTERS MAIDENS and MAYHEM cover pencils

MONSTERS MAIDENS & MAYHEM cover pencils- And for any of you B-movie buffs out there, yes:nod: this is a take on the poster-art from the 1954 movie "THEM!", but with a comic book twist.

So here's the pencil version of the cover for my MONSTERS MAIDENS & MAYHEM sketchbook.:woohoo:This image seemed to have the best blend of Sci-Fi and "campy" fun to it. I really enjoyed this one, even though it wasn't one of the easiest of covers to draw( the fleeing background characters drove me nuts and took longer than anything else to get right). On the flip-side, everything else went super quickly, plus I got to draw up great retro hairstyles and giant radioactive ants.=P

This one, along with a few of the interior pages, will be digitally painted for the final version. I hope you all enjoy this one as well.

THE WALKING DEAD, 1936 – Digitally Painted

THE WALKING DEAD, 1936, Boris Karloff and Marguerite Churchill with lines by me and digital paints by Chuck.
Finally got the digitally painted version done and very pleased with how it turned out. Chuck Pires did an amazing job that was well worth the wait. Here’s the penciled version from before, [link]
This one will actually be page two of the convention sketchbook I’m doing up called “MONSTERS MAIDENS & MAYHEM” :evillaugh:which will comprise of old Hollywood B-Movies and Monster movie posters from the 30′s through the 60′s. I absolutely love the artwork and poster designs that they used for those. Hopefully you guys will like my take on them as well. This one, along with a few other pages, will be digitally painted like you see here for the final version.
Let me know what you guys think.:w00t: Go ZOMBIES and cute girls!
Again, thanks a ton for all the kind words, Favs, Watches and the llamas over at DeviantART. It really means a lot, so thank you.

I’ll be putting the project up on kickstarter.com in the next few weeks once everything’s finished. An amazing site for artists projects a buddy referred me to. So here’s sample of one of the first pages in the sketchbook.
This one, along with a few other pages, will be digitally painted for the final version. But I wanted to show the pencil version before it’s painted.
Very pleased with how this one turned out. Let me know what you guys think.:w00t: Go zombies and cute girls!
